This Vintage Coca-Cola Machine Doesn't Dispense Sodas, It's A Hidden Entrance Open To Adults Only
May 13, 2015
From the streets of Shanghai, you might be fooled into thinking this is just a sandwich shop with a 30 year-old Coca-Cola machine.
But this machine doesn't dispense sodas, it's a hidden entrance to a stunning speakeasy bar, fitting to the Prohibition era.
There are no windows once inside.
The bar - called Flask - specializes is American whiskey (Bourbon and Rye).
"Our concept for serving bourbon and rye is because everyone else in Shanghai focuses on single malt scotch, says the owner of Flask. "I am pretty sure we currently have largest selection of bourbon/rye in China (close to 100). I wanted to do something different, plus bourbon tastes so good!"
