This 80 Year-Old Man Built A 'Dog Train' To Take His Rescued Stray Dogs On Adventures

80 year-old Eugene Bostick lives in Fort Worth, Texas, with his brother Corky. Together, they built this homemade dog train that takes their rescued strays out for fun rides around the neighborhood and in the surrounding woods.

Eugene and Corky live on a dead-end street where many people, unfortunately, bring their unwanted dogs to leave them behind.

"We started feeding them, letting them in, taking them to the vet to get them spayed and neutered," Eugene said. "We made a place for them to live."

The train idea came about when they realized it was getting harder and harder to take their ever-growing family out on adventures together.

"One day I was out and I seen this guy with a tractor who attached these carts to pull rocks. I thought, 'Dang, that would do for a dog train.'"

Once or twice a week now, Eugene and the nine dogs currently under his care can be seen puttering down quiet streets around town or through the forest near their home.

"Whenever they hear me hooking the tractor up to it, man, they get so excited. They all come running and jump in on their own. They're ready to go!"
