A Woman Protesting Islam At A Local Mosque Gets An Unexpected Response
October 12, 2015
On Saturday, an Ohio woman showed up at a local mosque to protest against the Islamic faith.
The woman - identified as Annie on Facebook - was not prepared for what happened next.
She was greeted by members of the mosque who engaged her in a lively, but mostly friendly, debate about Islam.
Once Annie put her guard down, Cynthia Eugenia Cox DeBoutinkhar saw an opportunity.
"Our hug seemed to go on forever," Cynthia wrote. "I wouldn't let go until I could feel her go from tense to soft. Then she agreed to go inside with me."
Annie accepted the invitation and met with other members who applauded her as she entered the foyer.
