Trauma For Life: Magpie Swoops Boy Riding Scooter

A man in New South Wales was filming his son riding his scooter when a magpie attacked from above.

Although it was a scary moment for the youngster, this is a common experience in Australia. Magpies usually breed between August and October every year, and it's during this time that their protective swooping behaviour is in full force.

So, it was also a learning experience, and together, Dad helped his son conquer his fear.
