Children Sing 'Memories' By Maroon 5 And It's Absolutely Beautiful

August 10, 2020

The One Voice Children's Choir, a nonprofit that creates family-friendly uplifting music videos, covered "Memories" by Maroon 5 and it's absolutely beautiful.

The song was written by Adam Levine after losing someone very close to him -- but he didn't want to make the song relatable only to him.

"First and foremost the song is for everybody," Adam said in an interview, even though he wrote the song about his manager who passed away. Adam said his band manager was like a brother to him.

He continued, "In a world that is increasingly chaotic and crazy and angry in a lot of ways... rather than fight about things it's nice to have common ground, and all of us have had loss."

Adam added that the song is "also about celebrating them which I think is important."
