Comedian Gives The Most Powerful Speech About Getting Through Hard Times
February 13, 2019
In 1990, after moving to Los Angeles with his family to seek fame and fortune, comedian Anthony Griffith recieved two life-changing phone calls; one from a talent coordinator at The Tonight Show and one from a doctor.
In this powerful speech, he explains how he had to deal with his young daughter's cancer while having to make people laugh for a living. He was angry at the world, yet he had to be their "clown".
"It was the best of times, it was the worst of times," he said.
But that's life.
And Griffith, while fighting back tears, explains how he got through it.
