Student Surprises Classmate Who's Going Through Hard Times With A Special Gift

In an emotional video captured by peers at King George High School in Virginia, a student surprised a fellow classmate with an unexpected - and expensive - Christmas gift.

Darrian Hodsden wanted to show Thomas, a classmate who is going through a rough patch, that he's there for him.

"This guy has been through a lot! I wanted him to know that someone was there for him. He mentioned to me about a ps3 and he didn't have a system and he wanted one. So I took some action! Merry Christmas everyone," Hodsden wrote.

Hodsden surprised Thomas with the video game console along with a few games.
