Kindergarten Students Sign 'Happy Birthday' Song For Deaf Custodian

October 25, 2018

An entire class of kindergarten students in Tullahoma, Tennessee, surprised their custodian by signing "Happy Birthday" to him on his birthday.

James Anthony, who's deaf, immediately brought his hands to his head in disbelief.

"Our Kindergarten classes learned how to sign Happy Birthday for Mr. James' birthday today. He was so surprised!" the school wrote on Facebook.

According to Principal Jimmy Anderson, Mr. James is loved by all the students.

"Mr. James teaches the kids sign language every now and then, teaches them good manners and how to treat other people," Anderson said.
