October 19, 2018

Opal is a 7-month-old Australian Shepherd that is blind and deaf due to a genetic disorder.

Forrest and Christine adopted her from The Double J Dog Ranch in Idaho, which is a sanctuary for animals with special needs.

In the video below, Opal waits for her dad outside and gets super excited when she smells his car pulling up to the house.

"This is my favorite part of the day," Christine says.

"Opal is blind and deaf. But she knows when her dad comes home from work and waits outside. When she smells his car she gets very excited. It's freaking adorable!!"
