Store Employee Refuses To Buy Necklace From Struggling Mom -- Gives Her Cash From His Own Pocket
August 17, 2018
A Texas jewelry store employee refused to buy a treasured necklace from a struggling mother - and gave her cash from his own pocket instead.
"It seemed like she was sad," Noah told CBS DFW. The woman explained to him that her mom had given her the necklace but that she was broke and needed money to pay bills. Noah asked how much she was hoping to get for the necklace, then gave her "exactly" that amount from his own pocket -- and handed the necklace back.
The exchange, which ended with the grateful mother hugging Noah, was captured on the store's surveillance camera.
