Lessons From A Humble Genius: Victor Wooden's Amazing Commencement Speech

"The press and the world will make us think everything is bad but the bad things jump out at us because they're not normal. We have to remember that the world is a beautiful place and we are beautiful people."

This is Victor Wooten's unique commencement speech at the University of Vermont Rubenstein School. Wooten has won 5 Grammy awards and has been named "Bass Player of the Year" by Bass Player magazine three times, the first person to ever win the the award multiple times.

Standing in front of the new graduates, Wooten plays his bass the whole time while giving an incredibly moving speech.
