Dog's Condition Makes It Hard To Get Food Down, So She Eats In A Special High Chair
March 19, 2018
A dog with Megaesophagus, an enlargement of the esophagus, has trouble getting food to move down into their stomach. Dogs with this condition require the assitance of gravity to move the food downward, so they have to sit upright while they eat.
The Bailey Chair was designed specifically for dogs with this condition that would have otherwise been put down.
Grace Jones, who learned about the chair from a Facebook group called "Upright Canine Brigade - Megaesophagus Awareness and Support", posted a video of her dog, Daisy, using the chair with ease -- and it is probably the most adorable thing ever.
