Orangutan Spots A Bird Drowning And Saves Its Life

An orangutan at a zoo spotted an injured baby moorhen struggling in the water and saved its life. He recognized danger and willingly offered help to an animal of another species. I knew orangutans were intelligent, but I didn't think they'd be on this level of compassion.
The injured bird was eventually taken in by zoo staff, according to the video owner Mick McGrane.
