Wild Elephant Salutes The Men Who Rescued Her Baby From A Ditch

In Kerala, India, a baby elephant fell into a ditch and got trapped. As the family of wild elephants watches and waits on the other side of the river, a rescue team uses an earth mover to help dig the baby get out.

Once the calf climbs out, the elephants come running to welcome the baby, checking to make sure it is not injured.

An incredible moment then occurs when the mother turns and salutes the humans, thanking them for saving her little one.
