Lately he has been all over the news for acting "crazy" and "bizarre" but this might explain everything.
In 1999, Jim Carrey portrayed his idol Andy Kaufman in the film MAN ON THE MOON. The behind-the-scenes footage of that film has been locked up and withheld for almost 20 years. Now, it's being released as a documentary called "Jim & Andy: The Great Beyond."
