A video of a marine surprising his grandfather, a Vietnam War veteran, is touching the hearts of many.

Disabled Former Marine Meets His Grandson in Uniform for the first time after 2 years

Christian says the entire reason he became a Marine is because of his grandfather, Jeffrey B. Anderson.

But his grandfather wasn't able to attend his graduation and had never seen Christian in uniform.

"It had been 2 years since my grandfather saw me (since I'm stationed overseas) and he'd never seen me in uniform, so I decided to surprise him for his birthday," Christian Anderson wrote.

"I always told him when I was little, I'd make him proud one day, and seeing his smile when I showed up in my blues absolutely thrilled me."
