A Pregnant, Paralyzed Dog Was Dumped By Her Owners. This Is Her Remarkable Story

Maria the dachshund was paralyzed from her ribs down, and during this time, she was forcibly bred by her owners. When they realized it would cost $3,000 to deliver her litter via C-section, they dumped her.

Luckily, the amazing folks at Friends Of Emma, a rescue organization in Texas, found poor Maria and gave her the love and care she deserved.
