Watch What Happens When A 9 Foot Tall Beaver Dam Collapses In A Calm Lake

This video documents a dam collapse in Northern Minnesota. The beavers have been building on this dam, adding one and a half feet in height per year for the last 7 years. Needless to say, they reached the limit of 9 feet and it spontaneously collapsed draining the whole pond in about 4 hours. Thankfully no one was near the spillway when it blew.
