Dolphins Swimming Through Bioluminescent Plankton Is One Of The Most Beautiful Things I've Ever Seen

The bioluminescence is produced by millions upon millions of tiny dinoflagellates; microscopic animals, or zooplankton, that are thought to produce this luminous display to startle or misdirect potential predators. I think one of the coolest things about this is that dolphins are (very likely) smart enough to appreciate this.
