HD Video Of NYC In 1993: Look At How Different New York City Was 23 Years Ago

In 2002 D-Theater D-VHS launched in the US - the dealers needed a demo tape of HD footage. JVC reused some HD video that had been shot as a demo for the Japanese HD market back in 1993 and this is the result.

It's strange to see people walking around without cell phones and Times Square without huge digital video displays all over.
