Watch Cows Attack This Dairy Farmer For Trying To Steal Their Friend's Newborn Calf
August 24, 2015
Cows are very maternal and can form strong bonds with their babies if given the opportunity. They'll cry out and search for their young after the calves have been taken from them, sometimes within minutes of being born.
The cow that attacks the dairy farmer in this video is NOT actually the mother; she is a cow that's had her calves taken in the past. The actual mother, who just gave birth and is most likely sore, shows up at 0:08 to help her friend (notice the umbilical cord). An then a third cow, who didn't see the baby being stolen, rushes to help her friends upon hearing their distress calls.
