He Surprised His Parents On Their 50th Anniversary With A Dream Trip To Hawaii. This Is How It Went

May 11, 2015

My parents are celebrating their 50th Anniversary next month and I wanted to get them something nice to celebrate. Talking with them over the last few months, I was able to find out that Hawaii is the one place they'd really like to go for a vacation. My mother had told me this was not going to happen in her lifetime, seeing as it was way too expensive for them and their bills took financial priority.

This really hurt to hear, as my mother did the best she could her entire life to provide for my sister and I and give me the opportunities in life that I wanted. Even though I feel I owe them both so much more, I felt this was a good way of saying thank you.
