Seven Stolen Dogs Escape And Walk 10 Miles Home Together
March 24, 2026
In Northeastern China, seven dogs stolen from their owners have gone viral after escaping from an illegal transport truck and making their way home.
The dogs were spotted walking together along a busy highway after breaking free from thieves. But this wasn’t just a random group of strays.
They moved like a family.
One injured German Shepherd was carefully surrounded and protected by the others, while a little Corgi led the way — constantly looking back to make sure no one was left behind.
A passerby filmed the moment and shared it on Douyin (China’s version of TikTok), where the video quickly captured hearts online.
“They looked like a group of little brothers in distress, moving in unison,” one witness said.
Despite attempts to help them, the dogs stayed focused on one thing: getting home.
And they did.
According to the South China Morning Post, just three days later, all seven dogs were reunited with their owners from three different households. Reports say they walked more than 10 miles together—never leaving one another behind—to get home.
The video posted on Douyin has now surpassed 230 million views.
