February 5, 2026
A beautiful moment at a wedding is capturing hearts online. Sarah Dennison shared a video on TikTok showing her grandfather singing at her cousin’s wedding while her grandmother, who has severe dementia, slowly walks toward him.
“My grandma had dementia really bad and hearing my grandpa’s voice made her walk right to him,” Sarah said. “It was beautiful and I’ll never forget this moment.”
He was singing the classic “My Way” at the reception, and Sarah explained in the video caption that the song seemed to snap her grandmother out of the fog of dementia.
The short clip has touched countless viewers, reminding us all of the power of music.
@fluidheart_recovery She hasn’t been on this planet for four years and this is the last awesome memory our family has, as she declined very rapidly after this. Music was medicine to my grandma as it is me. #dementia #grandma #franksinatra #myway ♬ original sound - fluidheart_Recovery
