Unexpected Friends: Rhino And Tiny Deer Play In Snow
January 9, 2026
A heartwarming moment has been captured at the Wroclaw Zoo in Poland, where a massive rhino was seen playing in the snow with an unlikely friend — a tiny Chinese muntjac, also known as a barking deer.
Despite tipping the scales at 1.7 tons, the rhino was incredibly gentle with the little deer, who is about the size of a medium dog. The tiny creature showed no fear at all, even charging toward its enormous friend as if it were just another playful pup.

The video is a beautiful reminder that size doesn’t matter when it comes to friendship — and that sometimes, the most unexpected duos make the cutest companions.
