Shane Young, a dedicated father and FedEx truck driver from Indiana, is proving that love and creativity can shine even through the busiest of schedules. Despite working over 60 hours a week, Shane found time to pursue a unique hobby—crafting custom leather accessories for his family.
What began as a personal pastime quickly turned into a heartwarming sensation when a video of Shane surprising his daughters with handcrafted leather purses for Christmas went viral on TikTok. His daughters, touched by his skill and love, shared the moment with the caption, “Better than any Birkin to ever exist.”

The video melted hearts across the internet, earning Shane the affectionate nickname "Purse Dad." Orders for his beautiful creations started pouring in, prompting him to launch an Instagram page to manage requests.
“He’s so talented, and he doesn’t even know how talented he is,” his daughter said.
Shane, who admits he doesn’t even know how to navigate TikTok, humbly says, “I’m just so thankful.”
