In a delightful and hilarious video making waves online, two young girls offer a comedic yet poignant take on the rising cost of living.

One of the girls is outraged that the price of two ice creams with chewing gum in them is being sold from a van for £9 when the one that stops in her street sells them for £1 or £2 each.

"Bloody 9 pounds for two of them!" she tells her mother. "He's gonna get nowhere with that!"

She thinks the ice cream man is doomed to financial failure with this strategy, particularly as he only takes cards and not cash.
