A Rescued Genet Meets The Real Boss Of The House

February 20, 2024

In the heart of Florida, a recent wildlife rescue has brought together an unlikely group of residents – a common genet finding an unexpected refuge in a house filled with cats.

Cats, known for their territorial nature, wasted no time in asserting their dominance. The mother cat, in particular, took it upon herself to let the genet know who reigns supreme in this household.

A common genet is a small carnivorous mammal (Viverridae family) native to Africa. They are very cat-like in appearance and behavior.
