A Severely Disfigured Dog Was Living On The Streets. He Was Rescued And Made An Amazing Recovery

A homeless dog named Gus lived for months with deep wounds around his neck, a pumpkin-sized swollen head, shattered left hip, and 26 bullet shrapnels in his leg.

Gus was only 10 months old when he was rescued by Houston K-911 Rescue.

"He was a dead dog walking among the living," the shelter said.

Gus is barely recognizable today, thanks to the angels who saved him and gave him a second chance at life.
