This Wedding Proposal At Tampa International Airport Is One Of The Best I've Ever Seen

July 10, 2023

A man proposed to his high school sweetheart at Tampa International Airport and the video of the proposal is bringing tears of joy to millions of viewers.

Before he pops the big question, Dr. McMeekin pulls out a speech he wrote and begins reading it to his now-fiance:

"My dearest Nancy, it's been 60 years since we first met, 56 years since we first dated, 10 years since I saw you last and 20 days since we rekindled. You have always been the one I had a crush on since your cheerleader days. Strings me a smile to my face and makes my heart skip a beat.

For the last 3 weeks I have thought every day, every hour, and talk to you every night for hours. I'd long to see you again, hold you in my arms and tell you how much you mean to me.

The last weekend I fulfilled those dreams and made them a reality..."

Dr. McMeekin's staff met him at the airport to witness the proposal. One of his employees filmed it and shared it on TikTok.

"I've cried over this proposal 3 times already," one commenter wrote.

"THIS IS EVERYTHING," another wrote.
