Mom Tips Waitress $1000 In A Random Act Of Kindness To Honor Her Late Son

A mother of three working a double shift at a Chili's restaurant in Traverse City, Michigan, received the tip of a lifetime.
Michelle Schupbach decide to "Nash" her in honor of her own son, who passed away from positional asphyxia when he was 5 months old at his daycare. On the 9th of every month, Schupbach performs an acts of kindness in his honor and her family calls it "Nashing".
So when the family crossed paths with Traci Kaule at Chili's, Schupbach said she felt Nash had brought them together.
"We like to think he brings us to the right people," Schupbach tells Kaule in the video.
She surprised Kaule with a $1,000 tip - the biggest tip she's ever received. She immediately started crying.
"Before we tipped her we talked about her three boys. The 14 hour shifts she is working to make ends meet. She was so so kind, and promised to pay it forward. She was still crying when we left…and I heard a couple, 'Oh my Gods', from the wait staff in the back," Schupbach said.
