Grealish Promises Young Fan A Celebration For His Next Goal, Then Delivers At The World Cup
November 22, 2022
England's Jack Grealish fulfilled a promise to a young fan when he scored against Iran in the World Cup.
Finlay, who has cerebral palsy, wrote Grealish a letter after he learned the soccer star's sister also has cerebral palsy.
Grealish wrote back and invited Finlay to Manchester City's training grounds earlier this month. During their meeting, Grealish promised to perform a celebration for Finlay the next time he scored.
The next time he scored was on Monday at the World Cup. Grealish did not forget his promise.
