September 8, 2021
The original "Blues Clues" host, Steve Burns, has finally returned since his sudden departure from the children's television series.
Steve hosted the show from its premiere in 1996 until 2002. It has been called "one of the most successful, critically acclaimed, and ground-breaking preschool television series of all time".
As for the show's fans who are now all grown up, his message hits deep.
"This hit me really hard. For a brief moment I felt like I was catching up with my old friend. I really need a big hug now," one person commented.
"Wow, I did not expect to get so emotional watching this," another wrote.
So about that time Steve went off to college… #BluesClues25 pic.twitter.com/O8NOM2eRjy
