'I'm Here Live, I'm Not A Cat,' Says Lawyer After Zoom Mishap
February 10, 2021
This is the funniest thing I've seen in a long time.
Judge Roy Ferguson opened up virtual proceedings of the 394th Judicial District Court in Texas on Zoom on Tuesday and saw two lawyers and a kitten.
Attorney Rod Ponton accidentally had the cat filter on and could not figure out how to remove it.
"I'm prepared to go forward with it," he says during the meeting. "I'm here live I'm not a cat."
Yes, he was prepare to continue the important meeting... as a cat.
"IMPORTANT ZOOM TIP: If a child used your computer, before you join a virtual hearing check the Zoom Video Options to be sure filters are off. This kitten just made a formal announcement on a case in the 394th," Ferguson wrote in a tweet, with a link to the video.
