Beloved Police Dog Is Cheered On By The Community After Making A Miraculous Recovery
January 26, 2021
Arlo, a police K9 at the Thurston County Sheriff's Office in Olympia, Washington, was shot twice in the line of duty on 1/13/21 — doctors gave him a 60% chance to live.
After several surgeries, and the love and support of the emergency vets and community, Arlo walked out of the hospital on his own four paws.
Several officers, first responders, and community members lined up to cheer Arlo on as he made his journey back home to continue healing. Strangers were even seen waving and cheering from an overpass as Arlo's vehicle passed underneath.
