Bill Burr Tells Mando He Hates Star Wars
December 15, 2020
Comedian Bill Burr is not a fan of Star Wars, yet he was cast in The Mandalorian by director/writer Jon Favreau. So, someone took footage of Burr in a recent scene from the series and dubbed over his voice with a clip from Burr's podcast bashing Star Wars.
The funny thing is, Favreau casted Burr because he knew the comedian's fans would get a kick out of him being on the show.
"I ran into Jon somewhere, hanging with Mike Binder. I should start giving that guy a commission. [Jon Favreau says to Bill] 'I'm doing this Star Wars thing do you want to do something?' and I'm like 'I don't know, I'm kind of always making fun of it'. And he goes 'I think it would be funny, I think your fans would get a kick out of the fact you're in it'."
