February 9, 2026
Super Bowl halftime shows are known for big surprises — but this year’s performance by Bad Bunny delivered a moment no one saw coming: a real wedding.
NFL on CBS
According to reports from ESPN, PEOPLE, and other outlets, a couple featured in the Super Bowl LX halftime show was legally married right there on stage. The pair had originally invited Bad Bunny to attend their wedding, but the global superstar had an even bigger idea.
Instead of simply showing up, he invited them to be part of his halftime performance—and to say “I do” in front of millions of viewers.
The couple appeared multiple times throughout the lively and intricately choreographed show. Early in the performance, the audience watched as a proposal unfolded. Later, midway through the set, the two exchanged vows surrounded by backup dancers, turning the halftime stage into a wedding venue unlike any other.
After the ceremony, the newlyweds were seen seated near a towering three-tier cake, eventually sharing a celebratory slice as the performance continued.
The show closed on a heartfelt note, reinforcing its message of unity.
A large billboard lit up with the words: “The only thing more powerful than hate is love.”
It was a reminder that even in the middle of one of the world’s biggest sporting events, loves comes first.
