Letty, moved by the mother's plea, immediately felt compelled to act. She reached out to the liver donation team and underwent numerous tests to determine if she could be a match for Helin.
"When I found out I was a match, it was an amazing feeling to know I could potentially save Helin's life," Letty shared in an interview with the Daily Record. "Don't get me wrong, I was nervous too because it is a major, high-risk surgery but I knew I had to do it."
