Today, the spotlight shines on Lisa, a dedicated Store Assistant whose warmth and generosity made a significant impact on the life of a local customer.

Local resident Joe Westwood had been grappling with a series of challenges, including illness and the recent loss of a loved one. Leaving the house had become an arduous task, and on a routine trip to the Cannock branch for her weekly shop, fate took an unexpected turn.

In a twist of events, Joe realized that she had accidentally left her bank card behind, leaving her short on funds to cover the essentials. Facing a difficult situation, Lisa, the compassionate Store Assistant, stepped forward to make a difference. Despite the financial setback, she generously offered to cover the remaining amount, ensuring that Joe could complete her necessary shopping without any added stress.

Westwood, deeply moved by this unexpected act of kindness, shared her gratitude, stating, "I was in a bit of a state, and I didn't want to burst into tears, so I'm not sure I even said thank you, but it honestly meant the world to me. It only takes one act of kindness to help someone in need, and you never know how much someone is struggling. I think this lady knew."
