Luke, now 6 years old, has been offering his services since he showed up with his mom one day to volunteer.
"I thought it would be nice to help other people," Luke told KSDK.
"When he left that day he said, 'I'm going to go home and I'm going to collect more items for you. You need more stuff. We need more people to smile'," Alleluia Baskets founder Karen Mesler said.

Last year, Luke set out to collect 100 items for Alleluia Baskets. He recruited friends and family members to join his mission.
He collected 1,086 items.
This time, Mesler provided Luke with a box truck, and he was determined to fill the entire vehicle with supplies.
"He spoke to everyone he knew and everyone he met and said, 'I'm collecting things for Alleluia Baskets, we're helping kids smile on Easter'," Mesler said.
On March 27, Luke arrived at Alleluia Baskets with the box truck. It was filled with 12,221 items.
"With the support of our dedicated volunteers, help from generous donors, love from friends and family and countless blessings from God, Alleluia Baskets was able to fill and distribute 10,681 Easter baskets to children and senior citizens in need this year," Mesler shared in a social media post on April 9, 2023.
