Maryland Police Officer Praised For Act Of Kindness

Numerous citizens sent photos to the St. Mary's County Sheriff's Office after witnessing an officer's act of kindness.

Cpl. Gray Maloy spotted a man in a wheelchair who wanted to cross a road in Mechanicsville, MD.
Maloy pulled over, stopping traffic on the busy roadway with his police cruiser. He then got out and helped push the man's wheelchair across the road, and then on to his final destination.
Several motorists snapped photos of Maloy's act of kindness and sent them to the sheriff's office.
The law enforcement agency posted the photos to their official Facebook page.
"Wonderful act of selfless love and service," one person commented.
"Thank you, Cpl. Malloy for you kindness. I'm sure the gentleman appreciated your assistance. God bless and keep you safe and well," another wrote.
