A Baby Giraffe Was Born In Front Of Disney World Guests On Safari

A group of lucky Disney World guests got to witness the birth of a giraffe while on safari in Disney's Animal Kingdom.

The magical moment unfolded on the Kilimanjaro Safaris attraction.
"We're thrilled to welcome the newest member of the Animal Kingdom Family! Mom, Mara, gave birth to a Masai giraffe calf today around 2 p.m. on the Kilimanjaro Safari Savanna," wrote Disney's Animals, Science and Environment Facebook page. "Mom and calf are bonding well and we hope to share more details soon!"
The calf's gender has not been revealed yet, but the mother and offspring are already within view of Animal Kingdom visitors.
"I was on the safari this morning and saw the legs poking out!" exclaimed one user.
