Mom, Mara, gave birth to a Masai giraffe calf today around 2 p.m. on the Kilimanjaro Safari Savanna," wrote Disney's Animals, Science and Environment Facebook page. "Mom and calf are bonding well and we hope to share more details soon!"
The calf's gender has not been revealed yet, but the mother and offspring are already within view of Animal Kingdom visitors.
"I was on the safari this morning and saw the legs poking out!" exclaimed one user.
