Bills' Fans Get Called 'Laughing Stock Of NFL' By NBC Sports. Their Response Is Beautiful

November 7, 2018

Buffalo Bills fans stopped jumping on tables and decided to turn the tables.

Prior to the game between the Chicago Bears and the Buffalo Bills last weekend, NBC Sports Chicago posted a video on Twitter calling the Bills Mafia the "laughing stock of the NFL".

But these super fans, known for getting rowdy and jumping through tables, are also a community of people who raise money for charities and do a lot of good.

Bills Mafia members responded to NBC Chicago's insult by donating to Bear Necessities, a Chicago-based nonprofit that provides support for children with cancer.

Dozens of Bills' fans have posted screenshots of their donations on Twitter to help spread the word.

Although the Bills were blown out 41-9, the Bear Necessities Pediatric Cancer Foundation said the real winners of the game were kids with cancer.

This isn't the first time this year the Bills Mafia has come together for a greater good.

They raised more than $400,000 to the Andy and Jordan Dalton Foundation after Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Andy Dalton threw a game-winning touchdown pass in Week 17 that sent Buffalo to the playoffs and ended the franchise's 17-year playoff drought.
