Every Single Teacher On A Crowdfunding Site Just Got Their School Project Funded

Ripple, a cryptocurrency company, has donated $29 million to DonorsChoose.org, a donation platform that connects people to classroom needs across the country.
The donation covers every single project on the crowdfunding site - 35,647 requests, from 28,210 teachers at 16,561 public schools.

Teachers across the country are thrilled to see their projects funded.

Maria Hernandez, a teacher at Helms Elementary in Houston, was brought to tears by the good news.

According to Ripple's website, the donation will affect approximately 1 million public school students.
