Girl Turns 18, Buys First-Ever Lottery Ticket, Becomes Millionaire
March 29, 2018
A girl in Quebec bought her first lottery ticket on her 18th birthday and she hit the jackpot.

Charlie Lagarde
To celebrate her birthday, Charlie Lagarde bought herself a bottle of sparkling wine and a lottery ticket at a local convenience store.
When she got home and played the scratch-off, she realized that she had just become a millionaire.
"She's so sweet, down to earth, grounded," lottery spokesman Brian Lecompte told CNN.
Charlie decided to take $1,000 every week for the rest of her life instead of the lump sum.
She plans to spend prize money on traveling and exploring her passion for photography.
