Abandoned Dog Sneaks Into A Book Store And Steals A Book On Abandonment

A stray dog was caught on camera sneaking into a University book store in Brazil and stealing a book titled "The Days of Abandonment."

Moments after the dog exits the store, a student can be seen returning the book to a surprised cashier who was working the front desk.

Infinity Bookstore posted a video of the incident on their Facebook page where it was picked up by various local media outlets. It caught the attention of local animal rescuers who stopped by the book store and checked the dog into their care.

"Good afternoon! Moving on to give an update of the situation of the dog. For those who do not know, after fleeing from a temporary home the dog of the video came to stop here at the University. Now in the afternoon, two volunteers from Projeto Amparo Animal have come here and he will return to the same temporary home, where he will be medicated, vaccinated and very well taken care of," Infinity Bookstore wrote in an update. "When it is 100%, it will be available for adoption. Thank you for all your affection with us and the dog."
