Judge Excuses Man From Jury Duty After He Reveals He's In Love For The First Time

An Irish judge is being praised online for excusing a 54-year-old man from jury duty after the man confessed that he is in love for the first time.

Journalist Sarah Jane Murphy tweeted the exchange, which took place at a Dublin court on Monday.

"The judge broke into a broad smile and the man walked away grinning," Murphy recalled. "The woman beside me turned to me and said, 'Did I imagine that?'"
