Woman Sees Childhood Friend Has Gone 'Mad' On Drugs And Changes His Life

A Kenyan woman is being praised by Twitter users all around the world after photos of her helping a childhood friend recover from drugs have gone viral.

"Shout out to this lady named Wanja who met her childhood friend who had run mad because of drugs," Khalid wrote. "Took him to rehab. He is now recovering!"

Wanja's compassion and kindness for a man she hasn't seen in many years has touched so many lives.


"A week ago Hinga and I couldn't hold a normal conversation without me trying to hold his head up with my hand in order for him to concentrate," Wanja wrote in a Facebook Post. "Today we can have a normal conversation with him confidently looking at me."
