The Reason Chris Pratt Isn't Making Movies For A While Will Make You Like Him Even More

After shooting three movies back to back, actor Chris Pratt says he's taking six months off. In an interview with Parade, the 37-year-old actor said he's taking some time to be with his family.
"I've been on the road for 14 months — I did three movies back to back to back — so I'm taking six months off," Pratt said.
The in-demand actor has spent more than a year on location shooting three major upcoming films : Passengers, The Magnificent Seven and Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2.

Pratt says he plans on taking his family to the beach.
"I'm taking Jack to Jack's Beach — which is what we named the little stretch of beach on an island up on the San Juan Islands where we got a place," he told Parade. "We're going to go back to the fort we built about a month and a half ago when we went for a short visit and see if that's still there. If not, we're going to build it again."
